If your company is considering launching a global note or global bond (also referred to as a “Euro Bond”, WOJ can assist. A global bond is a certain kind of bond that trades in domestic or European market and typically clears through Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg Bank. Global notes are a popular method to raise debt capital and they usually issued and then traded outside the country where a currency is denominated. Global bonds are issued by non-European companies, but sell in a European country or any other foreign market.

Book Entry

Global Notes may be issued in book-entry form as Book-Entry Notes and represented by one or more fully registered Global Bank Notes held by or on behalf of Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg, as depositary, and recorded in the book-entry system maintained by Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg. For a company to be acceptable or eligible to place in common depository one’s Offering Circular must be in compliance.
